Carved dining table to client specifications

Carved dining table  Carving Detail

I wish the photograph did justice to the carved work on this table! Original design by Dennis Jenan to our client's specifications. Egg and dart around the edges, a carved "doughnut" in the center with an elaborate acanthus motif. The base (not yet attached) carries on the neo-classic theme. It even has an egg and dart lazy susan!

When the piece comes out of finishing, we'll post a (professional!) photograph, along with pics of the matching buffet. Look for it early April (?).

The Genoa

The Genoa

This is the lower part of a 13 foot bathroom vanity cabinet. When installed, the full unit will have very shallow upper cabinets (which are currently wrapped in newspaper, therefore not photographed). For the mirrors above the makeup table and sinks, we've sandblasted away portions of the silvering on the backs of the mirrors, and soft lighting will glow from behind the glass. We've used this technique before and it is very clean looking.

The elements here are an outstanding flitch of bird's eye maple veneer, inlayed with an ebony/maple border inlay, and high-gloss black lacquer. Note the inlay on the black lacquered molding. Dovetailed drawers on Tandem full-extension fully-concealed runners, pullouts beneath the dual oval lavatory sinks, etc. etc.

Curved face frame:

The Milano

Part of a custom designed Milano entertainment center. Let me tell you, it's hard to find a tree that grows this crooked!

The look here is very clean, simple and precise, with a white lacquer finish.

If you look in the upper right of the picture, you'll see a glimpse one of our "space suit" air filtration helmets that keeps our lungs dust-free.

Come on back, they'll be more next month, or sooner if the mood strikes me!
